Re: MZ-700 + MZ-1U06 Help needed
The K&P rom has the same functionality as the original from sharp. In addition, it has a few extensions, or still in minidos. It is possible to operate the KuP rom in a normal interface and vice versa, the original one in the K&P. The connections for the floppy are 1:1 for an AS400 Shugard d...

Re: PCG graphics on MZ 800
Technically it could be possible to switch to MZ-700 mode in assembler call and do some drawings and maybe switch back
If you do that, your screen will be destryed
( Ok not your hardware
)

Re: Dumping character ROM
Yes it is mirrored, most emulators are based on a font that does not match the original.
It was an ASCII file in which the character set was created by hand.
If you wand have one flipped, let me know.

Gotek drive emulator
My disks are over 30 years old and are increasingly difficult to read, so a replacement is needed. The solution is the Gotek floppy emulator. The emulator must be configured as a shuggard drive. A 1: 1 ribbon cable must be used to connect the emulator to the FDC. In order not to have so high costs, ...

Re: Unknown hardware for MZ 800
If you are uing the MZ800 FDC you dont need an expansin unit. Bur there was an expansionsunit to conect MZ700 FDC and other cards to the MZ800.
By my self, i have bulid an busadapter to conect the MZ700 FDC to the MZ800 ( you must remove the (ep)rom from the MZ700 card !! )

Re: MZ800 is not an euro MZ1500 !!!
Yes several sites says that , i have informed them, but no reaction. KHM has had no time to correct ist ( ols sharpMZ.org ).
I have written it on wikipedia, but after times it was erased
Intressting, the MZ1200 ist an reduced hardware from the MZ80A, but compatible with the MZ80K
