A zaxxon clone on the mz700 or mz800?
Hey, I was watching some retro games videos on the tubes recently where I saw blizzard being played, that triggered a memory that I can't seem to either confirm or deny! Was there ever a zaxxon clone made? (the one I found was a completely different game and not at all zaxxon-like) I hope your memor...

Re: WTB SHarp MZ-700 or MZ-800
I hope it's not against the rule but I would like to suggest looking at marktplaats.nl there's one mz-721 for sale there right now, for about €100

Re: Futuro MZ by Genesis Project
Finally the demo I've been working on is finished, thanks to everyone here on the forums for their help! Youtube video MZF binary Technically it a bunch of standard "demoscene" effects, trying to optimize as best as I could with interleaved VRAM access and stack abuse to get as much speed...

Re: Help new QD owner
Geir - who has bought the QD off me but not collected it yet - has bought 40 NIB disks for it, so I guess this won't be a problem for him :) Sheer madness! Did he eat some bad herring ;) I was quite on the fence on buying either a unicard or building a QD emulator like was featured on the main site...

Re: Help new QD owner
I did a quick check in the technical reference (page 121) :
QL : load
QS : save
QC : copy
QF : format
QX : transfer
QD: directory
And I rember putting flappy on disk 10 or 11 I never got around to "restoring" the original disks.

Re: Help new QD owner
Hi Jo, use QF to format a disk (side) and then use QX to load a program from tape that will then be copied to disk. This should get you started. Also I used the black ribbon cable to jumper the pin of the cassette connection on the motherboard to be able to use the 3,5mm input jack to stream mzf /wa...

Re: WTB: MZ-800
Sorry hlide,
I struck a deal with Jo already. I did see a brand new /old stock sharp QD drive for sale on ebay a while back, but I think that's gone now.

Re: WTB: MZ-800
It's located in the Netherlands, but if you are not interested in the QD than an ebay 821 one might be the better option. I'm not planning to sell it off in parts, just too much of a hassle.
