Re: Sharp Applications tape?
It was almost 35 years ago I had access to a MZ-80K last time, but I think there was a cassette with some demos delivered with it. One was a "Graphical" demo ending with a rotating globe. I could remember wrong, but I do know I saw the rotating globe on some Sharp with low res graphics. /U...

Re: Not so shiny new MZ
IIRC my MZ-700 was what you call off white. I remember it having a slight yellowish touch in the case.

Re: MZ-700 + MZ-1U06 Help needed
The second card seems to be an MZ-1E05 for interfacing a floppy disk drive. The ROM seems to be modded to get two different ROM contents. The strange thing is that neither the layout nor the amount of chips on the board fits with the pictures I've found of MZ-1E05, and one of the pictures is from h...

Re: MZ-700 + MZ-1U06 Help needed
So far no luck on the net. A bit strange if it doesn't have a Sharp part number on. Due to the marking on the ROM and the switch I'd guess it is a FD interface. A dump of the ROM might help to identify it if everything else fails. It could of cause be a pre series board or a board that isn't for the...

Re: Not so shiny new MZ
I think it was two of the Swedish letters that swapped place. Long time since I had the computer at hand now. The CG rom might also be special. The high part (the one that wasn't very well documented in the manual) had other characters in the Swedish version. Large letters made for the Swedish Telet...

Re: online Z80 assembler
I've made a pull request at the z88dk project with a MZ-80B version.
Anyone here that have a working MZ-80B? I am right now testing the results on a emulator, but I don't know how exact the results are.

Re: online Z80 assembler
I've made a pull request of my first changes for z88dk now.
Just taking care of the DELete key, but a start at least.
I also used the z88dk frontend to write a short assembler program form the mz700 manual and it worked as expected.

Re: Not so shiny new MZ
Btw it has a Swedish character ROM. I guess I should dump it, could not find it on sharpmz.org. Interesting... I had one with Swedish ROM. I suppose I should try to get that machine back again... There is a bug in the original Swedish Rom, IIRC. I remember I made a special version myself at least. ...
Re: EmuZ-80
I tried the EmuZ-800 and think it is quite nice, but the code is very Windows specific. A more portable solution would be nice, as I plan to migrate to Linux, after Windows 7 supports ends. This portable emulator has some potential, also the GTK GUI is still very basic: https://sourceforge.net/proj...
