I can only find information about the Quantum Hi-Res board for the MZ-80K
No mention of PCG.

I am looking this up right now because no MZ-80A I have ever seen as had a PCG. It is not built into the machine as standard. It would be mentioned in the manual and other 80A books. I'm just going through my index of SUC magazines to see any mentions of it.
Yeah link to Usborne site's books is in the readme.txt files in my Downloads folders (main link in the root of Usborne Books folder but link to each individual PDF in each subsequent sub-folder's readme.txt file)
Interesting to find out that they did make their way out of the UK. I had a feeling they might. I still have the two pictured above (those are my actual copies). None of the others though. But if you check the readme files in my Downloads folder you'll see the URL to all the books.
If you were a kid in the '80s and in the UK (perhaps other countries too!) you would recognise the Usborne programming books. Can I just check something : How much RAM memory does the MZ-1200 have? (I presume ROM is still 4KB)
