Re: Looking for a collaborator

I've nearly finished the documentation and can share with you very soon, probably in the next day or two. Thanks for offering to help!

Re: MZ-700 demos

Wow, that's pretty amazing. How on earth you do those vertical twisting bars I have no clue, and the artwork at the end which seems like full pixel access, pretty damn clever.

Re: Looking for a collaborator

I know all that :) Yes, the physical release is a cassette + User ROM. (I wasn't going to give that away yet, but it doesn't really matter). That'd be great if you could help! I'll be in contact.

Re: Looking for a collaborator

I was thinking of giving away the source code anyway with purchases of the physical release.

Re: Looking for a collaborator

I'm not sure about the open source thing yet. The end product will be a rather nice looking physical release which will be sold (plus free download) through my Sharpworks store. I've put a lot of time and energy so far into this (although development has stalled for a while). I will think about it t...

Looking for a collaborator

Hi all, I have been working on my own Fast Loader project for the MZ-80A. It works pretty well. It is targeted towards unmodified machines, so stock MZ-80As. No additional hardware needed. It works pretty well at 2x speed (about the best I can get out of the MZ hardware, I think the problem with goi...

Thanks mz-80a. You have aided me.
No problem. If you make any games or other interesting software (including your text adventure) and would like to see them released on cassette (and digital) then let me know, we (Sharpworks) are always looking for new games etc

Re: Making a basic text adventure.

I have uploaded the MZ-80K version of Haunted House here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1XMoVPT8YmIKWXGAXFLs_2ABCXnj3As4w?usp=sharing Perhaps if you have a look through this it might help you with the SP-5025 problems. I'm not familiar enough with that particular BASIC to give you an answer...

Re: Forum spam

Yeah, it was fun getting rid of 92 separate spam posts this morning ;) I think the admin activation is a good thing overall.

Re: Making a basic text adventure.

Update on evil star. There will not be an inventory due to SP-5025 not allowing me to compare string variables to strings. There will be music. At the end, I will credit anybody who's helped me along the way. That's strange that you can't do that. There are plenty of text adventures for the MZ-80K,...
