Re: MZ-SD2CMT - correct wiring?

I didn't see your posts. So, basically, everything are checked but the progress bar is not progressing? Do you have an oscilloscope?

Also give me your binary, I'll try to upload it on my Arduino.

Re: MZ2TAPE: Fast transfer 100ko / min through the tape socket / MZ2TAPE : Transfert rapide 100ko/min par la prise casse

First, you're hijacking the thread for another project with no link to MZ2TAPE.

Second, I really doubt your project is able to load a 48KByte binary in 20s unlike MZ2TAPE.

Re: RGB case + PCB + Connexions

C'est le boitier que l'on trouve sur les MZ-700 vendus en France à l'époque, non ?

Re: MZ-700: is there an easy way to get a modern video output?

I have tried them all - cvideo, csync and separate syncs. I guess I have to hook up an oscilloscope and see what these signals looks like. Someone says: Unfortunately, the board has a quirk, you have to unsolder the cheap Elkos from the board and replace them with good ones, otherwise the picture a...

Using CVIDEO (pin #1) or CSYNC (pin #3)? I believe they are inverted signals.

Yes, I heard some people saying the quality of GBS8200 is random. By stable picture, what do you mean?

Re: MZ-700: is there an easy way to get a modern video output?

Regarding SCART wire, I simply use an Amiga RGB SCART I had in tons - that could be a good start for testing.

Re: MZ-700: is there an easy way to get a modern video output?

If by SCART > HDMI, you mean RGBS > SCART > HDMI, be aware you may need a mod. On the SCART you have two pins #8 and #16. - Pin #8 is said to select a 4/3 or wide format according to the voltage. But you can leave it not connected as a modern TV allow for you to force the 4/3 or wide output. - Pin #1...

From https://www.sharpmz.no/articles/the-mz- ... 0-plotter/, their sizes match (Diameter: 5, length: 23.3). So do their shapes too.
