Re: Making a basic text adventure.

Hey dude, sorry to hear that! The MZ-80K keyboard is definitely unique. It's a shame you weren't using the MZ-80A because that does have a much more reasonable keyboard. Still look forward to seeing your work if you finish it. Haven't updated this in a good couple of years almost and the fact that I...

Re: Token converter

I forgot to reply to this! Yes, it does seem to load on the 80A.

Ten Liner MiniRunner

Hi,

I recently entered the BASIC ten liner competition myself and made a game called MiniRunner for the MZ-80A. You can download and play it from here:

SOS Island

Here's a game I got recently but needs the MZ-80K keyboard (the keypad with graphics symbols on). May have to make an 80A version.

Re: CP/M on the MZ-80A

All I have at the moment is the MZ-80A CP/M disk itself. My drive is with someone else at the mo having a Gotek fitted.

Just check the Monitor boot up text in ROM. For instance on the MZ-80A it's "MONITOR SA-1510"

Re: MZ-700 Graphics

Pretty interesting!

On a tangent : Does anyone know what the naming scheme actually means for things like SA-1510 and SP-1002 ? What is 'SA' and what is 'SP' ?

Re: MZ-700 Graphics

I don't think the MZ-80A and the MZ-1200 are similar. The MZ-1200 seems more like a K but in an A chassis
