So with EmuZ-700 (PAL timings): should work.
The source will be available on GITHUB?
And with EmuZ-700 (NTSC timings): shouldn't work.
So the last test is to run it on my real MZ-700 to check it works.Search found 685 matches

Re: MZ-700 demos
I was always unconfortable to use EX AF,AF' because I wrongly thought POPing AF could enable interrupt but you're right it could perfectly fit here! good finding!

Re: Sharp MZ Hardware Emulator on MiSTer
@psmart. Seems the Atari forums is kinda dead. Sorelig creates a dedicated forum to MiSTer: https://misterfpga.org/

Re: Sharp MZ Hardware Emulator on MiSTer
What a shame... huh... shade! That's weird, MZ-700 PSU is not supposed to offer 12V so you pick it from a modern PSU? I guess so. Anyway, keep good job and don't refrain yourself from giving us progress report (could it be a link to your blog for more details).

Re: MZ-700 demos
Here is the link to the binary package offering both PAL and NTSC version of EmuZ-700: the PAL version runs the CPU at the expected frequency (17MHz/5 and not 14MHz/4), the FPS will be capped to 50 instead of 60 and the video timings are those given in the PAL MZ-700 service manual. I maybe miss som...

Re: MZ-700 demos
I modified EmuZ-700 source to make a PAL version with PAL timings (borrowed from EmuZ-800). The purpose was to test my current game which is written to use the PAL timings. I tried several demos (including yours) I could find on Pouët website. There is only one demo (neotokyo) which fails on the las...

Re: Sharp MZ Hardware Emulator on MiSTer
Glad to hear you again. I really like your realisations on the real MZ-80 A (I have one but it needs to be fixed). Since I have a MiSTer and I would like to stick to the official cores and so the official main core, I'm glad there would be an official MZ core or - better - official cores (I indeed p...

Re: MZ-700 demos
@MooZ, did you try to draw up to 14 characters instead of 12? PAL timings appear to give us up to 91 cycles to access the VRAM until negative BLNK blocks the CPU instead of 60 cycles with NTSC timings. Your sources show you're limited the drawing sequence under 61 cycles. Since your demos are using ...
