Re: Star Avenger

Wow! Nice graphics!
I'm still amazed how cool games could be on the MZ-700.

I definitively have to test this game this weekend :D

Seems like it supports the joystick. Maybe about time to convince my dad to send me his. It's not like he is using it.

MZ-700 demos

Here Nyan-700 demo for the MZ-700: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KPJR8WcuHhc
Not the most impressive demo, but kinda cool still.

This one is a little bit more impressive: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=weIlFeeZUEE

Martin Lukášek made this demo for the MZ-800: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o7whWxvH5BA
Of course, it is impossible to play without a UniCard :(

Re: Gaming

My impression is that it is quite high amount of machine code games on the MZ-700. A quick look at the download-section for MZ-700 gives 90 BASIC games and 64 machine code games. I believe the less advanced graphics and limited sound system of these systems in combination with a quite good BASIC mad...

My program is simply just an image converter, really.

Here are some more pictures.

Re: MZ-80A demo

Will that demo also work on a MZ-700? Not strictly MZ-80A, but I've made a (crude) converter that can convert any picture to MZ-700 graphics, which is nice for people like me with limited artistic skills :D The conversions creates a 2K (or was it 4K) screen memory like on the real MZ-700 and my prog...

3D printed shells for plotter pens?

Just an idea:
Maybe it would be possible to 3D-print shells with the same dimensions as the original plotter pens that could use some generic ballpoint pens?

I don't have a plotter my self, so I can't test this, but maybe someone else could try?
