I tried to capture the video output signal to see how it is.
First a real composite signal through my first MZ-821 (with composite signal) :
The signal has a color-burst and looks like a composite one.

[MZ-800] Different Video output box
So I have two MZ-821 now. The first have the usual video outputs : DIN8 + RF + composite. The second has no RF output and no composite as well: the expected composite plug appears to be just a video output for some SHARP monochome monitors. The one with composite signal: IMG_20181125_123755.jpg The ...

[MZ-SD²CMT / MZ-CH376] Ideas for fast loader/saver program without the need of GUI on the SD device
You probably know about my project MZ-SD²CMT (Arduino MEGA with a LCD, buttons, a SD card reader) which emulates a tape recorder and have a special ultra-fast mode to load a binary program the fastest way. I also have another ongoing project using a CH376 (can read/write USB mass storage key and SD ...

Re: [MZ-80 K / MZ-80 A / MZ-700] undetermined $Exxx I/O range?
I watched the MZ-700 /CSE signal while varying the memory mapped I/O address and this signal goes low only if the range is between $E000 and $E00F. Outside, it is always high, i.e, inactive. So it is safe for an external device with the fitting decoder to use from $E010 to $E7FF without any conflict...
