I might be better leaving well enough alone then. Its done nothing but rain here and the forecast is not good for the coming days so I've time to mull it over but last thing I need is to loose the lettering.

The machine works again so for now maybe I should concentrate on some software.

Maybe somebody will be interested in a spare parts donor. there is one quite cheap on ebay. (at least still.)

Postage might be quite steep, but maybe it's worth looking at.

But I got a better result with TO8 keys as I could refine the experiment.

Sorry I'm resurrecting this old post. I just got an mz 800 that is missing the Del key, i think it's the same as Fs is it possible to get the stls? That would be lovely. Thanks

Hello.
I'm new in this forum. I have a MZ700 and I have lost 2 keys and break 3 stems in a "little" accident at home. The keys are "J" and "M".
Could someone help me to restore my keyboard, please? Thank you very much.

If you have (access to) a 3D printer you could print new keycaps. I can upload the STL for these if you're interested.

The stem is another issue though. I have tried to 3D-print a new stem, but they are just too finely detailed for my printer. I repaired the stem with a bit of Lego: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=347&p=956#p956

With a 3D resin printer, it could be finer?
