I built a device to play wav files from SD card into your MZ700 but fits where the Tape deck was. Based on the ArduiTape project but modified a little to work in the MZ700.

I opensourced the case on Thingiverse.

@pacman I added where to get the kit at the end of that blog post. And BTW you should check out https://github.com/rickyelqasem/MZF2WAVGUI which helps convert all the MZF files to wav file very quickly.
