My apologies, I didn't see the notification and was preoccupied with my projects!

I'll attach the photos but the machine was definitely bought in the UK by my brother in 1982 sometime around July->Sep (I know this as we emigrated back to the UK and my brother came back 3 months before I did).

I no longer have the complete original machine, only some parts, but this manual was the original.

Front page, well used and dated, I learnt digital electronics on this machine and the manual was a constant source of info.

Looks like you've got something rare there mate. Never seen a manual with the date in the front page. The notice about the 48K being fitted as standard in UK is in a slightly different position. It's a little hard to see the rest from the quality of the images but this could be an early release MZ-80A perhaps. Did it still only have the green screen or could you actually get colour out of it?

The machine was standard from memory, no different to the one I have now, green screen exactly the same.

If you look at this link (on Chrome with translate) you will see the Japanese MZ1200 and the MZ80A both had the intention by Sharp to have colour, Ohishi made a colour card to fit in the space where it was intended to go.
