Pretty hard to say if it is difficult to make a MZ-80 B port. Despite what some may say, the MZ-80 B hardware is not completely the same as the MZ-80 K series. Unicard is mostly for MZ-700, MZ-800 and MZ-1500 as they share a lot of hardware. For MZ-80 B, there are probably more differences making the firmware too more specific to code. I wish I can access the firmware source so experts can contribute and may extend its functionalities or adapt it for the others like MZ-80 K/MZ-80 A/MZ-1200. And why not a Unicard for the MZ-80 B series as well.

Hlide, what you said is true my friend.
I think there is a different approach involving 80B as I the fw already includes FDD support. (there is no eprom on MZ80b floppy card)

I own a MZ80B BUT with no FDD controller and I really like to run CP/M on it!
I had no luck finding an FDD card so far . ;)

is the schematic and / or PCB layout for the mk3c version available for us MZ-7xx owners?
Some of us might be able to make the hardware for ourselves, since it looks like he original creators are out of time (for now at least).

I never found the MK3C PCB and as far as I know it is now discarded by using a MK3B PCB and a BUS converter PCB.

So, is the schematic for the bus converter available?
Or the difference between the bus on the MZ-700 and the MZ-800?

I don't have the schematics but I think you can easily make this: retrieve the pinout of the male edge connector of MZ-700 and the pinout of the female edge connector of MZ-800. You just need to connect the same pins (A0 -> A0, etc.). You also need to have an external pin to inject the 5V in the MZ-800 side (Unicad is waiting a MZ-800 bus) because it is not present in the MZ-700 side.

I see. Are you using the same connectors for both ends? (It looks like that on your picture).
Do you have a part number or a source for these connectors?

I just bought that PCB with two Unicards then solder the components I already had.

Let me check for the components...

In my case, I made it with two ECS50SB1A1-B, because I found too difficult to insert a ECR50SB1-B.
